FIDE Chessable Academy: 140 Nominations from 51 Federations



Dear member Federations:

At the close of the official deadline, the newly created FIDE Chessable Academy has received 140 nominations from 51 Federations to enrol their most promising young talents into this training program. Eligible players are between the ages of 8 and 16.

There have also been many requests to allow for extra time to contact candidates and especially due to this coinciding with the start of several FIDE World Cup continental qualifying events. 

Therefore, FIDE agreed to extend the deadline to the end of Tuesday, May 25, by 17:00 CET.
